Essi is a Finnish cinematographer based in London. She is an NFTS MA graduate whose work blends technical precision with a distinctive visual voice. Her films include the BAFTA-nominated ‘milk’ and ‘Truckload’, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival and had its UK premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Working across narrative, documentary and commercials, she is known for emotionally driven imagery, deep commitment and her constant drive to develop her craft.
