With cinematography degrees from both NYU’s Tisch School of Arts and the American Film Institute (AFI), Petra started shooting Hollywood features at a very young age, back when there were only a handful female cinematographers on the Local 600 Roster. Originally from Vienna, Austria, Petra has lived in France, NYC, LA, Prague, London and Buenos Aires, and speaks four languages fluently. Petra loves light and color and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Dramatic feature films are her passion.
